×As a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment and School and Education practice groups, Connor works with private companies, schools, and municipalities on a broad range of legal issues. Connor has helped clients resolve issues involving wages and hours, employee leave, employee and student discipline, privacy, compliance with state and federal drug testing requirements, and labor relations. He has represented clients in state courts and administrative agencies, and in federal immigration court. Connor is a regular contributor to the School Law Advisory and a frequent presenter at seminars and trainings for clients on a variety of legal topics. Recently, Connor has given presentations on the First Amendment, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and Maine’s collective bargaining law.
Connor is a graduate of Fordham University and the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school, Connor was the Head Case Note and Comment Editor of the Maine Law Review, co-chair of the Maine Association for Public Interest Law, a student attorney at the school’s Refugee and Human Rights Clinic, and a teaching assistant. He also received the school’s Faculty Scholastic Achievement Award. He is member of the Board of the Muskie Fund for Legal Services, and does pro bono work with the Immigration Legal Advocacy Project. Prior to attending law school, Connor was a journalist.
