Sara is a member of Drummond Woodsum’s Trial Services Group. Prior to joining the firm, Sara spent two years clerking, first for Chief Judge Jon D. Levy at the United States District Court for the District of Maine and then for Judge Kermit V. Lipez at the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Sara is a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. While in law school, she was a Case Note and Comment Editor of the Maine Law Review, a co-chair of the Maine Association for Public Interest Law (MAPIL), a student attorney at the school’s Refugee and Human Rights and Juvenile Justice clinics, and a teaching assistant. She was the Refugee and Human Rights Fellow for her class and was awarded a MAPIL Fellowship to complete an internship with the Federal Public Defender in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Sara also received Maine Law’s Immigration Law Award and Maine Law Foundation Alumni Award.
Sara is a Maine native and a graduate of Kennebunk High School. She currently lives in Portland.
