Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that Elizabeth C. Mooney has joined the firm’s Higher Education and Litigation practices. Elizabeth has a wide-ranging practice counseling institutions of higher education and litigating in state and federal courts on behalf of businesses and individuals. Elizabeth has extensive experience handling complex matters and has managed cases from inception through discovery, summary judgment, and trial.

Elizabeth graduated from Northwestern School of Law with a J.D. in 2010 and Trinity College with a B.A in 2006. Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, Elizabeth spent ten years at WilmerHale in Boston, MA, where she represented a host of businesses and individuals in civil litigation before federal and state courts, conducted investigations on behalf of medical device manufacturers responding to government subpoenas relating to the False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute, counseled major car manufacturers in connection with disputes with state lawmakers and franchisees, and represented survivors of domestic violence on a pro bono basis.
