CONGRATULATIONS TO GARY VOGEL, WINNER OF MEREDA'S 2012 PUBLIC POLICY AWARD
February 2, 2012
At its Annual Real Estate Forecast Conference on January 26th, the Maine Real Estate Development Association (MEREDA) presented Gary Vogel with the 2012 Public Policy Award. This award is presented each year to a member whose efforts have had a significant impact on public policy decisions for the benefit of responsible real estate development in Maine. Gary is a very active member of MEREDA, devoting countless hours as Chair of their Legislative Committee.
Gary was the winner of this same award in 2006 as well.
MEREDA's president, Tom Lea, presented the award to Gary with these words:
I can personally testify that the amount of time that Gary devotes to MEREDA is staggering. MEREDA made some great strides advancing its legislative initiatives during the 125th 1st Regular Legislative Session. As Chair of MEREDA's legislative committee, Gary was instrumental in helping MEREDA achieve many of these successes. Gary's commitment to MEREDA is greatly appreciated.
