DRUMMOND WOODSUM ATTORNEYS HONORED BY SUPREME JUDICIAL COURT'S KATAHDIN COUNSEL RECOGNITION PROGRAM
November 8, 2012
The Maine Supreme Judicial Court created the Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program to acknowledge and recognize Maine lawyers who provide pro bono representation to Maine's low income and elderly residents. Attorneys who completed 50 or more hours of such legal work during the past twelve months were honored at a ceremony on November 5th.
We are proud that seven Drummond Woodsum attorneys were recognized by the Court:
George (Toby) Dilworth, Melissa Hewey, Ted Kelleher, Elek Miller, Michael Murray, David Sherman and Thomas Trenholm.
We are grateful for this recognition of our commitment to helping those in our community who are less fortunate. For the past two years, the Maine Bar Association and the Volunteer Lawyers Project have honored Drummond Woodsum for accepting the most VLP cases of any Maine law firm.
