Attorney Bill Plouffe gave the opening remarks at the symposium “Valuing the Aesthetics of Nature: The Role of the Visual Artist in the American Conservation Movement” held at Colby College on August 3rd and 4th. Bill is Of Counsel to Drummond Woodsum, having practiced land use law with the firm for over thirty years. He is also President of the Maine Appalachian Trial Land trust and previously served as Vice-Chair of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy Board of Directors.
