March 14-15, 2018

The Labor & Employment Group at Drummond Woodsum invites you to its quarterly complimentary Human Resource get-together.  This program will discuss the difficult issues both private and public employers face when employees speak out - either inside or outside the workplace - and provide tips for how to handle those issues.

Topics will include:

  • 1st Amendment free speech and association rights: Who is protected?
  • Employer rights to monitor and control employee speech
  • Social media policies
  • Disciplining or discharging employees for speech inside and outside the workplace
  • How to respond to employee membership or activities in support of controversial groups or associations

Please forward any questions you may have on this topic to Laurel McClead at lmcclead@dwmlaw.com by March 12, 2018. These questions and others that arise will be addressed during the program. We usually have a full house, so the earlier you register, the better. We look forward to seeing you!

For your convenience we are offering this program in Maine and New Hampshire.
