Drummond Woodsum is pleased to welcome Parke A. Burmeister to our growing Estate Planning practice. His practice will focus on developing estate plans, preparing wills and trust instruments, administering estates, and handling probate matters. He will also work with businesses, particularly family-owned entities, assisting them with a range of needs.
"We are so pleased that Parke is joining our Estate Planning group. His extensive experience in all facets of estate planning and his deep commitment to his clients is impressive," said Benjamin Marcus, Managing Partner.
Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, Parke built a successful boutique law practice in Portland’s Old Port focused on estate planning and small business matters. Parke graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law, where he served as a Teaching Fellow for the Property and Contracts courses, and as an editor of the Ocean and Coastal Law Review. He currently serves as a Board Member and Secretary of Portland Ballet, Secretary of the Maine State Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, and member of the Maine Women’s Fund Marketing Committee.
