Earlier this month the U.S. Navy Reserve selected its commanding officers for the next two years. Unit commanding officers are chosen by a selection board from a nationwide pool of eligible officers. Among the officers choosen for command is Tim Steigelman, a Drummond Woodsum attorney, who has also been serving as a Commander in the Navy Reserve.
When performing military duties Tim will lead a unit of naval officers in support of U.S. Fleet Forces Command in Norfolk, Virginia, which is the Navy's force provider for naval operations worldwide.
Tim is a full-time litigation attorney at Drummond Woodsum who specializes in maritime law. He has been designated a Proctor in Admiralty by the Maritime Law Association of the United States, which the Association describes as "the most distinguished class of membership for practicing maritime attorneys."
