Earlier this month Drummond Woodsum attorney Tim Steigelman was pleased to appear as a guest lecturer in the Oceans Law and Policy seminar at the University of Maine School of Law.
His presentation discussed the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and other sources of international law, and their application to military uses of the ocean. The discussion also covered the practice of admiralty law, both in Maine and nationwide.
Tim is a litigation attorney at Drummond Woodsum who specializes in maritime law. He is a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Oceans and Coastal Law at the University of Maine School of Law, where he previously served as an adjunct professor. He has been designated a Proctor in Admiralty by the Maritime Law Association of the United States, which the Association describes as "the most distinguished class of membership for practicing maritime attorneys."
