Ten Drummond Woodsum attorneys honored as America's leading business lawyers by Chambers USA 2007.

We are pleased to announce that Chambers and Partners, a well-respected London legal publishing firm with world-wide reach, has selected ten Drummond Woodsum attorneys for inclusion in their "Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business, 2007 Edition". Attorneys are selected for this honor based on in-depth independent research performed by the publishing firm, in addition to many interviews conducted with clients and peers.

Drummond Woodsum attorneys listed for 2007 are:

Daniel Amory (Native American Law); Jerrol Crouter (Litigation and General Commercial); Robert Gips (Native American Law); Melissa Hewey (Labor and Employment; Litigation, General Commercial); Michael High (Corporate/M&A); Benjamin Marcus (Corporate/M&A); Harry Pringle, the firm's Managing Director (Labor and Employment); Daniel Rose (Labor and Employment); Richard Shinay (Real Estate); and Bruce Smith (Labor and Employment).

Jonathan M. Goodman, an associate with the firm, has been named to the Board of Directors of Family Crisis Services.

The mission of Family Crisis Services is three-fold: (1) to provide programs that focus on individual advocacy and safety for battered women and their children; (2) to work for and encourage institutional change to assign responsibility for battering to the perpetrators; and (3) to change cultural values that perpetuate and support the abuse of women through community education.

Prior to joining the firm, Jon was a police officer with the Portland Police Department for 13 years, and was most recently a Sergeant, where his responsibilities included complex investigations in criminal and employment matters, collective bargaining, and supervising training and development. Jon was the 2005 recipient of the Robert B. Ganley Public Service Award, the City of Portland's highest employee honor.

John S. Kaminski, a shareholder with the firm, has been elected to the firm's Board of Directors.
